This is my last post on Medium. And if you take a look, I have not been prolific here at all. And that is only part of the reason I’m moving my written information to Substack. Here are five reasons in a random order.
- Substack is beautiful. The interface and the simple but sophisticated options for how a post looks and reads on a page are astonishing.
- More people are interested in my approach to a topic. There are many Christian writers and readers there.
- It has everything I need to create a newsletter from my writing and be versatile enough to sell books and programs or give away resources to my tribe.
- I have already made money on Substack. People have the options to become a paid subscriber for a mere $80/year. And people are doing it.
- The leadership of Substack does not change algorithms and fool with my base of people. Moreover, I know the emails people use to sign up on Substack. I can serve them specifically.
